Author and Illustrator Biographies

Author Bio

Jacqui LeBeau fell in love with books as a child when her mother read to her before tucking her into bed. Her favorite book was The Little Engine that Could. When she got a little older, she’d walk up town on Saturday mornings to collect her treasures for the week from the Bookmobile, a traveling library. Reading and writing transported her to magical realms and powerful times in history.

She has lived her life based on the Little Engine’s motto: I think I can…I think I can… A Penn State graduate, Jacqui spent twenty years in marketing and public relations. Then she answered that mid-life call and left a successful corporate career for more creative pursuits. She now devotes more time to writing, painting and her other passion, animal communication. She and her husband spend their free time loving five big dogs, and maintaining a 4-acre azalea garden in Spring Grove, Pennsylvania.
